RATES AND CONTACT

M/V Legend is operated as a Multi-day Bareboat Skippered or Fully-crewed Custom Charter. A bare boat skippered charter provides a boat that contains the basics such as linens, dishes, and silverware. Fishing gear to include fishing rods and reels, crab pots and limited boat supplies are provided without extra cost. Fuel, food, and incidental charges while voyaging, such as docking fees, are the responsibility of the charter client. A U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain is included in the charter package. An onboard cook, if desired, is extra. A fully-crewed charter includes a skipper, cook, food, fuel and incidental charges included in the rate.

Each voyage is tailored to the client’s wishes. Rates are provided on a daily basis.

BASE BOAT FEES: Charter fees are calculated on a boat-rate/day basis. At the time of booking a Reservation Fee of 20% is required. The Balance is due 120 days prior to the charter start date. On the day of sailing a Security and Cleaning Deposit of $300 is required. This deposit is returned in full if the boat is returned clean and no deep cleaning or fishing gear replacement is required.

CLIENT BOAT OPERATION COSTS: Major client operation costs for a bareboat skippered voyage consist of fuel, food, fishing licenses, moorage fees (if required), and personal liquor. Estimates for these costs are as follows: boat fuel/day: $150.00; food/person/day: $30.00; fishing license/person (14-day): $100.00. Note: A 5% sales tax is assessed to all items purchased in the City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) and the days the vessel is operated within the CBJ boundaries. Rate for cook, if requested, is $150/day. Moorage, if needed, is $24.00/day.

A fully-crewed voyage includes all costs except fishing licenses and personal liquor.

Any fish caught during a bareboat skippered or fully-crewed voyage are the responsibility of the client. Processing and shipment to the client’s home can be arranged, but are not part of the charter. Cost of this service will vary depending on the location where and when the fish are caught and the shipment destination.
